It’s finally getting warm out, and what better to cool off with than a Freeze Pop?? I have basically the same pattern, but with 2 different stitches, one with single and one with half double. I prefer the one with the half double better, but I think that might also be my favorite stitch.
Materials used:
Cotton yarn
H (5mm) crochet hook
Scissors
Embroidery needle
Abbreviations:
CH – Chain
SC – Single Crochet
HDC – Half Double Crochet
SLST – Slip Stitch
Pattern:
Start by chaining 9 and then sc around and around without ever really “ending” a row.
Keep going around until you have 20 rows. Once you have 20 rows you can finish it and tie in the ends.
Now for the HDC version you’re going to start about the same. Ch 9, sc around for the first row.
Then you can start the hdc stitches. Keep going around and around until you have 12 rows. Tie in the ends, and there you have the second version of freeze pop cozy!
