Learning to Crochet Lesson 11 – Lemon Peel Stitch

This one is another one that I really like! I love using this stitch to make dish rags because it gives great detail and also looks cute too.

Grab your hooks and yarn and we’ll get started with chaining 21. Skip 1 stitch and then single crochet in the next stitch. Now you’re going to double crochet in the next stitch.

Basically you’re going to switch back and forth across the row doing single then double, then single….etc. Then you’re going to continue like that for all the rows.

Go until you have a square with 12 rows. Remember to keep all your squares for the blanket we’re going to make in the end!
